Our Mom always kept a summer garden when we were growing up (she still does). We remember some years it being bountiful and other years…well, she tried. But the tomatoes thrived without fail. She often picked them while they were still green and let them ripen on the kitchen counter. Held in a handcrafted Forever Vessel in Earth, this is that scent…the scent of green tomatoes just off the vine, of the summer garden on the farm.
