Contains: One 10oz candle (~60hrs burn time) made with eco-friendly coconut blend wax infused with safe fragrance and essential oils.

Good to know

- Burn Time: Approximately 60 hours.
- Wick Care: For cotton wicks, trim to 1/4" before each use. For wood wicks, trim to 1/8". Proper trimming ensures an even burn and safe flame height.
- Full Surface Melt: On the first burn, melt the entire top layer to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn throughout the candle's life.
- Safety: Never leave a candle unattended and keep it away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets.
- Optimal Burn Time: Burn for 1-4 hours at a time for best results.

How to make

Choosing the Right Vessel:
Use heat-resistant tumblers, cups, or jars that won’t leak, crack, or catch fire.

Good Options:
- Glazed ceramic
- Sturdy glass
- Sealed metal tins
- Enamel
- ~3" diameter

Avoid:
- Porous ceramics (e.g., terra cotta)
- Wood, plastic, or coconut shells
- Flammable or unstable materials

How to Make Your Candle:
1. Remove accessories from the bag.
2. Microwave the wax bag in a microwave-safe dish for ~2 minutes until melted.
3. Place the wick in the holder and center it in a 3" diameter vessel.
4. Pour melted wax into the vessel and let it set for 2 hours.
5. Trim the wick, and enjoy!

*For larger or irregular vessels, use multiple wicks to prevent tunneling. Extra wicks available in our shop.

Say howdy to Mariah

We partnered with Wyoming-based painter and printmaker Mariah Cottrell to create the original artwork for Wild West. Mariah’s hand-carved lino print depicts the rugged, free-spirited Western lifestyle we all find ourselves daydreaming about from time to time. Saddle up and ride the wildflower lined trail with Wild West.

Artist Q&A

Q: What role does scent play in your life?

A: I love lighting a good candle when I sit down to work. It's part of my process and helps get me in the mindset that I'll be hunkering down for a few hours to throw some paint around or work on a carving.

Q: How did you first discover your passion for art, and what led you to pursue it?

A: I grew up in a very artistic family, it was something my dad nurtured in all of us. Being the youngest of 5, I was able to watch my siblings and my dad work on endless projects together. Every vacation involved a hike and an art gallery/art museum. Its always just felt like a part of who I am.

Q: What are your greatest sources of inspiration?

A: I feel most at peace when I'm surrounded by nature, when I can dig my toes in the grass, hear the flow of the river and watch the sway of the flowers. I'm always trying to capture that feeling and bring it into my paintings and into my home.
