Every summer, I spend a few weekends at my in-laws’ cabin on the edge of a little Swedish lake. We putter around Farmors gorgeous gardens, soak in the sun on the dock. In the evenings, we grill, sauna, and swim. After the kids are in bed, we pour a glass of wine and watch the sunset sink into the lake—still glowing at 10pm.
